The WiFi actually works throughout the apartment, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter, and honestly, the views from the higher floors are pretty spectacular, especially at sunset when the whole Sava lights up.

Here’s the thing about Arcadia – it’s not trying to be some grand historic hotel with marble lobbies and uniformed doormen. Instead, it gives you this comfortable base where you can live like a Belgrade resident for a few days. The neighborhood gets lively in the evenings but quiets down enough that you can sleep (I’m picky about noise, and it was fine). Check-in was smooth, and they let me store luggage after checkout while I wandered around for a few more hours. If you’re the type who wants to explore Belgrade properly – not just hit the major sights but actually get a feel for how the city works – this place puts you right in the sweet spot. Plus, you’ll save money eating some meals in your apartment, which means more dinners at those incredible Belgrade restaurants.
