The apartment itself is way nicer than the modest exterior suggests. I mean, they’ve clearly put thought into the details – proper blackout curtains (thank god, because Belgrade summer sunrises are brutal), a kitchen that’s actually functional instead of just decorative, and honestly the Wi-Fi is better than what I have at home. The bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that… well, let’s just say I took longer showers than necessary. What really got me though was how quiet it stays at night. Petrarkina isn’t a main drag, so you’re not dealing with trams rattling by at 2 AM or drunk folks stumbling home from the floating clubs on the Danube. You’ll sleep properly here.

Here’s the thing about staying in Zvezdara – you’re actually living like a Belgrader, not just visiting. There’s a decent bakery two blocks down where the burek is ridiculously good (go early, they sell out), and you can walk to Cvijićeva Street in about ten minutes where all the cool cafes are. The city center? Sure, it’s not walking distance, but the bus connections are solid and you’ll save a fortune compared to staying in Stari Grad. Plus, and this is key if you’re driving, there’s actually parking around here. Try finding that near Knez Mihailova! The whole setup just works – it’s like having a friend’s place to crash at, except everything’s clean and the towels are actually fluffy. I’d definitely book this again, especially for the price point. Sometimes the best spots are the ones that don’t try too hard to impress you.
